ABOUT ME

I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (PS0159034). My therapeutic approach is rooted in a person-centered orientation, prioritising empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. I aim to create a safe, collaborative space where individuals feel understood and supported in making meaningful change. I am passionate about walking alongside individuals as they navigate psychological distress, life transitions, and personal growth — with compassion, clinical rigour, and respect for each person’s unique story.

EXPERIENCE

I have experience in both public and private sectors, including inpatient, outpatient, community, higher education, and forensic settings.

I provide psychotherapy and conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I have experience in neurocognitive assessments, personality assessments, and psycholegal evaluations, including forensic risk assessments for parole and state forensic hospital evaluations to inform legal decision-making.

My therapeutic approach is humanistic, and I support clients through a wide range of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, stress management, relationship issues, addiction, personality disorders, mood disorders (including bipolar disorder), grief, and life transitions.

FEES

  • Medical Aid Rates: Standard rates apply.

  • Cash Payments: A reduced rate of R1,100.

  • University Students and Interns: Special rate of R650.

  • Other Reduced Rates: For individuals facing financial constraints, rates can be negotiated. We believe therapy should be accessible to all, and while it cannot be free, we aim to make it affordable.

  • Forensic Work: Fees for forensic assessments and services, including psycholegal evaluations, are negotiable and can be discussed directly with legal counsel. Please reach out for more details.

  • Talks and Workshops: Rates for talks and workshops are negotiable based on the scope, location, and duration. Please contact us for specific arrangements.

  • Psychological Assessments: The fees for psychological assessments (including cognitive, personality, and clinical assessments) depend on the complexity and requirements. The assessment process includes the intake session, assessment, scoring, and report writing. Please contact us for a tailored quote.
